Job Description
The Services Enablement Specialist will play a critical role in enabling Professional Services teams from new hire onboarding through to ongoing development.
This is an organized individual with a passion for coaching, development and enablement. This individual is dedicated to facilitating a more effective team to meet and exceed KPIs, as well as fostering the continuous growth and development of each team member for success in their role while providing Assent’s customers with the best possible experience.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
- Responsible for onboarding content and curriculum-specific training for Professional Services team members to ensure role clarity and expectations in the first 3 months in role.
- Work in collaboration with Professional Services leadership and the Revenue Enablement team to evolve new hire onboarding and ongoing development training and materials to ensure currentness and alignment with department goals.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders that support Services Enablement objectives. Monitor and report to the Services Enablement Team Lead on stakeholder involvement for onboarding and ongoing development.
- Support the successful hand-off of team members to their direct manager upon completion of new-hire onboarding.
- Provide and track qualitative and quantitative data related to ramping performance and ongoing development for the Professional Services department.
- Review and track employees’ abilities using coaching logs and follow-up with peer partners and supervisors to ensure feedback is being provided to stakeholders throughout the onboarding process.
- Work with the Services Enablement Team Lead to provide timely and valuable feedback and recommendations on the requirements of the role to meet personal and team objectives.
- Support the evolving needs of the Professional Services department in both enablement and operational capacities.
Qualifications
We highly value attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in building and executing enablement, onboarding and/or training programs.
- Current knowledge of adult learning and organizational development theories.
- Solid understanding of and experience in overseeing and optimizing operational processes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with incredible attention to detail, including the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism, maturity, and emotional intelligence, capable of concise and tactful interaction across diverse groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work comfortably and efficiently with all levels of leadership and roles within the company, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) or training tools.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, documentation tools, and data tracking tools.
- Highly adaptable and self-motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
