Job Description

Position Summary

The Enterprise Systems Specialist plays a crucial role at Assent, overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of core business systems, primarily Salesforce. This position requires a profound understanding of how these systems integrate across various departments—extending beyond sales to marketing, customer service, finance, and operations. The specialist will ensure that these systems are effectively aligned with Assent’s strategic goals, enhancing cross-functional efficiency and organizational effectiveness.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Systems Management: Maintain and enhance Salesforce and other critical systems to support diverse business functions.
  • Data Integrity and Management: Conduct regular data audits, uphold data accuracy, and implement best practices for data management.
  • User Support and Engagement: Provide comprehensive support to system users across the organization, addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system utilization.
  • Process Optimization and Automation: Collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within systems.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Create and manage insightful reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the business.
  • System Integration: Manage the integration of business systems to ensure seamless functionality and data flow.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all system configurations and processes are well-documented and comply with corporate security policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of new technologies, system updates, and industry best practices to enhance system functionality.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead quality assurance efforts for new functionalities and system enhancements to meet business needs and standards.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce administration and configuration of out of the box and custom solutions.
  • Proven Systems Expertise: Extensive experience in system administration, particularly Salesforce, with a comprehensive understanding of its application across business functions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in creating and managing custom objects, fields, formulas, flow, validation rules, dynamic forms in Lightning and data integrity.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator & Advanced Administrator certifications are highly desirable. Additional certifications in system management are beneficial.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align system functionalities with overarching business strategies and goals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing system data to derive insights and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Skilled at working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with CPQ & Experience Cloud.
  • Previous experience with Financial Force, Outreach, Clari, Gong or Data enrichment tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
