This position is open only to candidates residing in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. Relocation support is not available.

This position is 100% remote.

The Role

Bond- Pro is looking for an experienced Director of IT Operations (DevOps/Production) for a full-time salaried position to oversee all Information Technology functions in our company. You will be in charge of a team and manage the company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies, including the growth of our customer hosting options.

An ideal candidate is very knowledgeable about system operations, software deployment, networking, computer systems, and very adept at managing and motivating people. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating and implementing IT policies, systems and support processes that will meet objectives. The goal is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage the DevOps process, tools and delivery.
• Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals for both internal usage as well as customer hosting operations.
• Establish and maintain a support process, team and tools to effectively monitor environments, track, triage and resolve issues within defined SLA’s. Ability to measure and report against defined SLA’s on a regular basis.
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
• Purchase efficient and cost-effective software and services.
• Inspect the use of hardware and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
• Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians, and other professionals to provide guidance.
• Control budget and report on expenditure.
• Manage at team of 3 direct reports.
• Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.
  
  

Skills

• Must have Azure hosting experience
• Must have DevOps management experience including; docker, microservice strategies, cloud solutions, code shipment and deployment, monitoring using industry best practices.
• Must have experience designing (from scratch), creating and implementing Azure Cloud Services such as Azure VM, Load Balancer, Functions, Blob Storage, ARM, SQL Managed Instance, Azure AD, etc. as opposed to merely supporting the status quo that is already set up.
• Must have experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps as well as performing SRE duties to ensure system uptime and reliability.
• Must have experience with scripting languages – Helm preferred.
• Must have production and pre-production experience
• Must have SOC Compliance knowledge and experience
• Proven experience in IT leadership role
• BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
