Who Is Bond-Pro

This position is open only to candidates residing in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. Relocation support is not available.

This is a 100% remote position, but travel to a client 2-3x per year for approximately 2 business days is likely.

The Role

This is a Business Analyst role focused on configuring our enterprise application to meet clients’ business objectives, especially during implementation. The BA will elicit client requirements and objectives, outline prototyping solution patterns in the software, documenting flows and illustrations when necessary, running show and tell sessions with clients to gain acceptance on solutions as configured and ad hoc training of key personnel when needed.

Who is well suited for this Role?

We are seeking analytical individuals with experience working with complex systems like ERPs (SAP, Sage, Oracle, etc.) where there are typically several ways to do things, but the right way is implemented because the right questions were asked. Ideal candidates will enjoy engaging with customers to find solutions and love mastering software to become a deep SME.

Property and casualty insurance industry experience is preferred, but financial services or banking industry experience is acceptable. Healthcare insurance industry experience is not acceptable.

This Role will partner with Engagement Managers (who own the Client Relationships). Must be able to align multiple initiatives like software configuration, data migration and interfaces/integration initiatives from a business perspective and drive completion of plan and deliverables associated to business design. This role ensures that when these complementary initiatives come together, the client has a properly configured and implemented product to match desired solution architecture.

Must have great understanding of full project life cycle for package implementations, business functional solutions and be willing to learn, enhance and be guided by Bond-Pro methodology.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages configuration-related effort lines for client implementations. Expecting to work with one or maybe two clients at a time.
  • Drafts succinct and concise functional business requirements to interface to the development team for solutioning when enhancements are requested by clients.
  • Leads client facing workshops regarding business functional walkthroughs. Facilitation of all workshops and drafting of all workshop outputs.
  • Identifies other resources needed to deliver on the business objectives based upon the client’s business requirements.
  • Continuously translates client business needs into configuration options.
  • Learns and masters client configuration in software and serves as client focused subject matter expert on the configuration.
  • Prototypes configuration options for clients to validate processes, workflow and integrations where applicable.
  • Helps write test cases for new features and executes user acceptance testing for those features.
  • Tests the application using assigned customer business scenarios.
  • Accountable for creation of the plan to achieve business objectives in conjunction with the Engagement Manager of the program.
  • Provides business related Subject Matter Expertise across the entire Bond-Pro Value Chain
  • Escalates and assists in resolution of business issues/risks and scope management.
  • Leads and/or participates in the estimation of work efforts when required.
  • Works collaboratively with solution architects and technical consultants.
