Company Description:

Role:

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software systems and applications for the company. This includes defining the architecture and technical standards, leading the development and deployment of software solutions, and providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization. Will also work closely with other teams to ensure that software solutions are integrated with the company’s overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement the overall architecture and technical standards for the company’s systems and applications

Create a compelling technical vision with a company-level impact, anticipating future needs

Initiate new projects: create buy-in, drive delivery and adoption

Set direction at the project level and consistently influence decision-making at the high management level

Lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions

Research and propose new technologies that get adopted and bring significant impact

Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our solutions are integrated with the company’s overall business strategy and that they are implemented effectively and efficiently

Provide technical feedback to both the business team in order to drive decisions and development teams in order to maintain the technical proficiency of our solutions

Qualifications:

At least 7 years of experience in software engineering or a related field

Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles, including experience with technologies such as Microservice architecture, .Net, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, relational and NoSQL databases

Experience with highly scalable solutions

Experience with DevOps practices

Experience leading the development and deployment of software solutions

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

A record of technical decisions with big impact on the projects

Ability to work well in a team environment

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
