We are seeking an established Finance Manager, M&A to join our team at Dragonfly.

Founded in 2019, Dragonfly is an acquirer and developer of standout eCommerce brands. Our team is led by founders with extensive experience on the Amazon platform and in the eCommerce ecosystem. Since our founding, we have developed proprietary algorithms and technologies to inform our acquisition strategy as well as in-house new product development and creative capabilities to build de novo brands and products at scale. With our unique approach, we quickly identify promising brands and grow them to their full potential.

We have raised over $500M in equity and debt to pursue our vision and are backed by industry-leading consumer-focused private equity firm, L Catterton. We are projecting to continue to add brands and products at a rapid pace over the coming years and are looking for high-caliber and well-rounded team members with the capabilities to help us achieve our ambitious vision.

Role & Responsibilities

• Coordinate the due diligence process for the company leading financial diligence and partnering with other diligence workstreams (e.g., Legal, Operations, HR, Marketing)

• Prepare and analyze historical financials to assess Quality of Earnings (QoE), net assets, cash flows and other complementary financial due diligence reports.

• Prepare Quality of Earnings and other due diligence reports, partnering with transaction advisory services teams as needed.

• Provide additional ad-hoc analysis for company leadership and investors.

• Interact with target company management and investors to obtain and organize due diligence information requests and data flow.

• Identify potential issues and risks that could impact valuation and/or future cash flows.

• Partner with Finance and Legal teams to ensure accurate valuation and financial data migration.

• Own post-acquisition seller data and communications

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-8+ year(s) experience in transactions advisory services, M&A financial advisory or similar background

• Industry experience with complex acquisitions is a plus.

• Strong understanding of eCommerce businesses (experience with Amazon is a plus)

• Ability to own an agenda and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Strong understanding of financial statements, business cycles (revenue, supply chain, etc.),business diligence, valuation, etc.

• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
