🚀 Our Mission

hackajob are the makers of Archer, the fastest growing recruiting agent after crossing $3m ARR in 9 months. Archer connects directly to a company's ATS, ingests every open role, and autonomously sources, screens and delivers qualified candidates into the hiring workflow. No recruiter engagement required, no manual sourcing, no dependency on candidates logging into a platform. Archer generates supply on demand, matched to real hiring intent.

The result: Archer works across 10,000 roles daily, assessing 400,000 candidates and introducing the most relevant - fully autonomously.

We're backed by Series B funding and are building the category-defining agentic hiring system. We believe the recruiting stack is structurally broken: built around manual workflows, upfront supply acquisition and tools that don't flex with how companies actually hire. Archer replaces that model entirely. It automates the task chain of hiring (sourcing, qualifying, ranking, delivering) so that recruiting teams focus on decisions, not process.

Overview

We're looking for an experienced B2C Marketing Lead to own how jobseekers discover, understand and sign up to Archer. This is a broad, hands-on performance and acquisition role spanning paid, social, search and content, and you'll be the person responsible for growing the number of jobseekers using Archer.

You'll set the acquisition strategy and make it happen: deciding which channels to invest in, making sure the content and creative land with jobseekers, using social and other channels to take jobseekers from awareness through consideration to signup, building acquisition experiments, and managing spend against clear signup targets. You'll own an acquisition budget, spent mainly on channels today, and it's your call how it's deployed, including bringing in writing or creative support where that's the best use of it. You'll work closely with our product and growth teams, with a particular focus on scaling candidate acquisition in the US.

We want to hear from people who have grown consumer audiences before and want to do it again in a fast-moving AI business. We live by the principle of hiring exceptional people and empowering them to do the best work of their careers, and this role comes with genuine ownership from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver our B2C marketing strategy, clearly communicating the value of Archer to jobseekers.
  • Drive new candidate signups to Archer across organic and paid channels, owning acquisition targets and reporting on performance.
  • Own the B2C content strategy and its quality, including the jobseeker-facing website, making sure messaging is sharp and consistent across every touchpoint and getting it produced in whatever way works best.
  • Own performance across all social channels, using them to drive awareness, consideration and signups rather than simply managing profiles.
  • Build candidate acquisition through SEO and AEO (answer engine optimisation), so Archer shows up wherever jobseekers are searching, including AI assistants.
  • Own paid acquisition channels and the wider acquisition budget, testing and optimising for cost per signup and signup quality.
  • Identify, build and manage relationships with recruitment channels and partners, particularly in the US market.
  • Build your own acquisition microsites, tools and experiments using our internal AI build tooling, rather than waiting on engineering.

A bit about you

  • A proven track record as a performance B2C marketer, driving user acquisition with a wide range of skills across paid, social, search and content.
  • A strong understanding of consumer audiences and what great content for them looks like.
  • Hands-on experience using social as a performance channel, with results to show for it across the funnel.
  • A builder mindset: comfortable spinning up landing pages, microsites and simple tools yourself, using AI-assisted tools.
  • Data-driven, comfortable owning numbers and making decisions from them.
  • Self-starter, confident owning a broad remit and seeing projects through from end to end.
  • Collaborative by default; no working in silos, and you enjoy sharing what you learn with the team.

Nice to have:

  • Strong B2C writing skills.
  • Knowledge of recruitment channels, especially in the US, and experience using them to attract candidates.
  • Existing relationships with recruitment channels or job distribution partners.
  • SEO and AEO experience.
  • Experience marketing a two-sided marketplace.
