Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is accountable for the successful delivery of the Annual Enrollment Period implementation for the Healthcare Payor Organizations throughout the entire project life cycle, from planning to implementation and post-delivery. As the leader of the project team, the PM ensures a high level of client satisfaction through client management, project planning, and effective project delivery. The PM in partnership with their assigned Solutions Lead provides oversight and leadership to a team of consultants, developers, and solutions service professionals.

The PM is the key liaison between the Messagepoint Healthcare team and the clients. The PM manages multiple projects at once and is responsible for ensuring all projects meet the target schedule, budget, and scope. As part of a project management office, the PM is expected to support other team members as needed to meet key objectives. This position reports to the Director of Healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:
Annual Enrollment Preparation: Coordinate and oversee the preparation and execution of communication activities during the Annual Enrollment period to ensure successful delivery, ensuring compliance with Medicare Advantage regulations and the timeline requirements.
Project Planning & Coordination: Before the start of the Annual Enrollment Period, work with the key stakeholders to formulate a comprehensive project plan for the implementation of Mandated and Marketing Communications to ensure timely and accurate implementation of all mandated communications related to the Medicare Advantage program.
Schedule Management: Develop and manage project schedules, clearly identifying critical milestones, task ownership, deadlines, and dependencies. Communicate this information to all stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the deliverables and timeline requirements.
Stakeholder Communication: Establish a robust communication plan, ensuring effective and timely communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all communications meet regulatory requirements, timeline requirements, and quality standards. Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans to address them. Monitor and report on project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Status Reporting: Track project progress and provide regular status updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Facilitation: Facilitate regular project status meetings and calls to ensure alignment and address any issues or roadblocks.
Post-Enrollment Review: Conduct post-enrollment reviews to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement action plans for ongoing improvement of communication processes and strategies in collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience:
o Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in Healthcare Mandated Communications Management.
o Proven experience managing projects related to Medicare Advantage or other regulated healthcare programs.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly preferred.
Skills:
o Project Management: Strong project planning, scheduling, and coordination skills. Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
o Communication: Excellent written and strong verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
o Compliance: In-depth understanding of Medicare Advantage regulations and compliance requirements.
o Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and make data-driven decisions.
o Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success. Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills. Strong leadership competencies with a proven track record of matrix team leadership delivering high-quality results and excellent customer satisfaction.
o Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all communications and project deliverables.
o Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), collaboration tools (Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, SharePoint, Zoom), and project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure, especially during the Annual Enrollment Preparation period.
