Summary:
We’re looking for a Project Manager (PM) who thrives on complexity, communicates with clarity, and leads with impact to join our Project Management Office (PMO). As a Project Manager at Messagepoint you will own delivery of the full lifecycle of software and integration, from initiation to closeout. Ideal candidates are hands-on, methodical, and confident navigating dynamic, cross-functional environments.
This is a high-impact role, where you will lead software deployments that integrate AI-powered content intelligence with enterprise-scale operations, directly impacting customer experience for major enterprises.
Responsibilities:
Business Development Support:
· Participate in pre-sales activities, including estimate reviews and the development of Professional Services Statements of Work.
· Assist in bridging the gap between the sales pursuit and project execution.
Project Leadership & Execution
· Own full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout for concurrent software and integration projects, driving outcomes to meet key objectives.
· Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with client and technical leadership in order to develop and maintain detailed project schedules and resource plans.
· Lead daily project operations, including collaboration with technical leads, tracking progress, and resolving blockers.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Serve as primary client liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
· Deliver concise and effective communication on status, risks, and escalations across all levels of stakeholders.
· Facilitate steering committees and ensure stakeholder alignment and decisions.
Team Coordination
· Lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business analysts across North American and offshore delivery models.
· Promote accountability and continuous improvement across teams.
· Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO standards.
Risk & Change Management
· Proactively identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
· Manage scope and change requests with minimal disruption to timeline and budget.
Financial & Resource Management
· Track budgets and financial performance to ensure cost control, forecasting accuracy, and positive margin delivery.
· Support timely invoicing and revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards.
Process & Quality Assurance
· Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies tailored to the project.
· Maintain accurate project documentation aligned with governance standards.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of working experience IT Project Management experience.
· Experience managing projects in the Customer Communications Management (CCM) industry is a strong asset.
· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is needed.
· Proven track record of delivering large, complex integrations using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
· Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and SaaS-based solutions.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex risks, issues, and concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
· Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills to handle shifting priorities, demands, and timelines effectively.
· Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce.
Education and Certifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
· PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred.
