Location: Nashville, TN or U.S. Remote

Position Overview

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects involving web, API, and mobile app development. You will manage Scrum teams using Jira, and also lead efforts to ensure that the software meets industry regulations, data privacy standards, and audit requirements.

This is a key role in ensuring that our products not only meet market needs but also align with the stringent security and compliance standards of the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Project Management:

  • Lead project planning, sprint execution, and delivery using Agile/Scrum methodology. Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

Jira:

  • Use Jira to manage project backlogs, work items, CI/CD pipelines, and releases, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and collaboration within the team and across multiple teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work with development teams, QA, product owners and business stakeholders to ensure project delivery.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.

Risk Management:

  • Proactively identify project risks, and work with teams to implement mitigation strategies.

Guidance:

  • Coach teams on Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, provide weekly updates on progress and assist with headcount planning.

Must-Haves

Jira Administration experience:

  • Be able to create and maintain projects in Jira, including burn down reporting and project field schemas.

Tracking work across multiple teams:

  • Be prepared to provide examples of how you helped coordinate work between teams working towards a shared goal.

Roadmap experience:

  • Be able to show an example of how you have created and tracked a roadmap that spans multiple teams over two or more quarters.
