POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a results-driven FP&A Manager to support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across the organization. This role will help drive informed decision-making through accurate reporting, scenario planning, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating both strategy and execution. This role is remote; our preference is that the selected candidate be in Calgary or Vancouver.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow:
- Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models
- Partner with business unit leaders to align financial plans with company objectives
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly financial packages with variance analysis and business insights
- Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance
- Investigate and experiment with AI tools to augment the content and depth of financial analysis and reporting
Strategic Decision Support:
- Partner with business teams on scenario planning and initiative evaluation
- Provide analytical support for investments, headcount planning, and business initiatives
Financial Systems & Process Improvement:
- Support the implementation of FP&A software tools and become the subject matter expert in the selected platform
- Improve planning and reporting processes for scale and accuracy
- Ensure data integrity and automation of recurring reports
- Leverage systems including NetSuite and Salesforce for integrated financial analysis
Business Partnering:
- Act as a finance liaison to Sales / Marketing / Product / Engineering and G&A teams
- Support senior leadership with ad-hoc analysis and financial insights
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- MBA or CPA
- Experience in [SaaS / PE-backed / Industry-specific, if applicable]
- Interest in AI and financial technology tools to improve efficiency and insights
