Summary -
The Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and automating AWS Infrastructure based on customer requirements to deliver analytical solutions. This role will work closely with Managers, Clients, and Managed Services teams.

Responsibilities of the Role:
- Develop automation-first solutions for cloud data services provisioning, integrating IAM, networking, security policies as code, and observability from the ground up.
- Collaborate with developers and internal stakeholders to deliver automated, cloud-native, and AI-ready solutions.
- Implement fully automated, resilient, and observable infrastructure with FinOps best practices to enable cloud IaaS and PaaS services.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for cloud data platforms, data pipelines, and infrastructure components.
- Enable AI-driven workflows for infrastructure monitoring, optimization, and predictive maintenance — experience in AI workflow orchestration will be a plus.
- Work extensively in POC environments to validate solutions before production rollouts.
- Deploy and manage AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, DMS, Redis, EMR, EKS.
- Design and deploy multi-tier, auto-scaling, high-availability architectures in enterprise and cloud environments adhering to business continuity best practices.
- Estimate AWS usage costs and implement operational cost-control mechanisms.
- Deliver in areas such as cloud network administration, security administration, provisioning, optimization, and third-party software support.
- Implement cloud security best practices and assess partner compatibility.
- Continuously monitor and optimize servers, networks, and infrastructure components for performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents with automation wherever possible.
- Conduct routine health checks and leverage automation for proactive issue detection.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to respond promptly to incidents.
- Lead initiatives to enhance infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation for automation workflows, system changes, and platform configurations.
Qualifications Required:
- Strong expertise in automation as a core skillset, leveraging IAC tools (Terraform preferred), CI/CD methodologies, and scripting (Python, Bash) to eliminate manual tasks.
- Experience with AI workflow integration in infrastructure automation (preferred ).
- Proficiency in AWS services, cloud-native security, monitoring, and logging tools, along with Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Strong background in the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, HBase, Kafka, Solr) and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience designing, deploying, and securing high-availability cloud solutions with cost optimization in mind.
- Knowledge of cloud networking (subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, VPC, IAM, NACLs).
- Experience in cloud logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present automation strategies to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good working knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
