Position Summary:

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to own and evolve the systems that power Securonix’s customer education and community experience. This includes training delivery platforms, hands-on lab environments, and integrations across identity, support, and community systems.

This role sits at the intersection of DevOps, platform engineering, and customer experience. You will be responsible for ensuring reliability, scalability, and seamless integration across multiple systems that directly impact customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end reliability and performance of the training and lab platform
  • Manage and improve hands-on lab environments aligned with product releases
  • Design and maintain automation for provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows
  • Build and manage infrastructure as code for scalable environments
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations across systems such as:
    • Identity platforms (OIDC/SAML-based authentication)
    • Support systems (Zendesk, JIRA, or similar)
    • Community and knowledge platforms (Gainsight or similar)
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment speed and reliability
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems
  • Partner with product, support, and engineering teams to improve platform experience
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements in systems and processes

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (Node.js, Python, or similar)
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production issues
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
  • Experience with API integrations and debugging

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure services (Functions, Static Web Apps, App Services, Storage)
  • Familiarity with identity and authentication systems (OIDC, SAML, CIAM)
  • Experience with customer-facing platforms (LMS, Support Portals, Community Systems)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience integrating systems like Zendesk, Gainsight, or similar platforms
