A-Players is partnering with Restream to hire a Senior Frontend Engineer for their product team.

Restream is a global live-streaming platform that helps creators, businesses, and communities reach their audiences across multiple platforms simultaneously. Founded in Ukraine in 2015, the company has grown into the #1 multistreaming solution used by more than 11 million people worldwide.

Restream is building products at the intersection of video, creator tools, and modern web technology, with a strong focus on simplicity, reliability, and an exceptional user experience.

They are now looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team and help solve complex product challenges, build new user-facing experiences, and strengthen the platform as it continues to scale.

What you'll work on

You’ll be part of a small, highly collaborative engineering team where individual contributors have meaningful ownership over both technical decisions and the final product experience.

You will:

  • Build and evolve user-facing features across Restream’s web products

  • Design and implement frontend architecture, UI components, and business logic for new and existing functionality

  • Work closely with Product and Design to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive experiences

  • Take ownership of features from technical design through implementation and release

  • Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards across the team

  • Improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of the frontend as the product scales

  • Explore new technologies and identify opportunities to improve the product and engineering environment

What we're looking for

This role would be a strong fit for an engineer who combines deep frontend expertise with a product mindset and enjoys working with a high degree of ownership.

You likely have:

  • Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript

  • Deep production experience with React and modern frontend architecture

  • Experience working with frontend state management systems

  • Strong understanding of modern ECMAScript and browser technologies

  • Experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS

  • Enough backend knowledge to comfortably work with Node.js, REST APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases

  • Experience working in modern engineering environments using technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and continuous deployment

  • Strong attention to product quality, UX, and implementation details

  • The ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates

Experience with additional programming languages or broader full-stack development is a plus.

The mindset Restream values

Restream operates with a small-team mentality, where engineers are expected to think beyond individual tickets and contribute to the quality and direction of the product.

The team particularly values people who are:

  • Entrepreneurial: proactive, pragmatic, and comfortable taking ownership

  • Curious: interested in understanding how things work and continuously improving them

  • Empathetic: thoughtful about users and the people they work with

  • Collaborative: able to challenge ideas constructively and build great products together

Why Restream

At Restream, engineers have an opportunity to work on a product used by millions of people while still operating in a focused, product-driven environment.

The company offers:

  • A startup-like environment with a flat organizational structure

  • High ownership and direct impact on the product

  • Close collaboration with founders, Product, Design, and Engineering

  • The opportunity to influence how the product and technical platform evolve

  • Equity, allowing team members to participate in Restream's long-term journey

  • The equipment and technology needed to do your best work
