ABOUT THE ROLE

SUPER73 is hiring a Service Writer to work onsite at our Irvine Service Center!

The purpose of this position is to support our customers by providing them with an excellent service experience. You will use your vehicle expertise to assist in assuring that our customers get the highest level of care as members of the Super73 community. As the main point of contact, you’ll ensure that all technical questions are answered, and all avenues explored to find resolutions to any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starting individual with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and strong organizational capabilities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Greeting customers and assisting them with their bike questions
• Logging incoming customer information and communicating actions to take to a technician
• Inputting customer and bike information into service board and tracking service work progress
• Creating service work estimates by determining labor, supplies, and materials needed
• Billing customers and managing work transactions
• Following up with customers and responding to questions. Continuing communication during the service process
• Works directly with customers for intake
• Ensures all bikes in house are clearly labeled and all required info is included upon intake
• Maintains the bike service board
• Review and improve our bike intake process 
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Ability to follow directions and procedures with self-motivation to work unsupervised
• Must have great attention to detail.
• Computer and point-of-sale proficiency
• Be considerate of team performance while maintaining clear communication.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Technical bicycle knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills

COMPENSATION:

The salary range in CA for this role is $20.00- $23.00 hourly and represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
