ROLE OVERVIEW:
SUPER73 is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Finance to oversee the financial health and sustainability of our organization. This individual will be responsible for leading the entire Finance function including financial planning, analysis, reporting, accounting, tax and internal controls, while working collaboratively across departments and with the Executive Team to ensure alignment with company's goals. The Director of Finance will report directly to the CEO and provide financial insights and updates to the Board of Directors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with SUPER73's growth objectives.
- Prepare and maintain long-term financial forecasts and models.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports to the Board of Directors, executive team, and investors.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial and tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and implement recommendations to enhance financial systems and controls.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Establish revenue and overhead expense targets to align with company goals.
- Regularly review financial performance against forecasts and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Operational Oversight:
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and growth initiatives.
- Oversee Accounting, AP/AR, and month end closes.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to optimize terms.
Strategic Decision Support:
- Partner with executive leadership to evaluate potential business opportunities, such as mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for key business decisions.
- Monitor market trends and risks to inform financial strategies and mitigate potential challenges.
- Other duties as assigned.
Technology and Process Improvement:
- Lead the adoption of financial tools and technologies to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Streamline financial processes and workflows to improve data visibility and accessibility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial experience, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- Proven track record of developing and managing financial strategies in a manufacturing or consumer goods company is a plus.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Netsuite, financial software, and Microsoft Excel.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range in CA for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year and represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience and qualifications.
