Our expanding product suite continues to protect patients and now also enhances multi-enterprise collaboration through innovative new applications such as MINT.

In the SDET II role, the candidate will play a crucial role in developing robust, scalable, and high-quality automated testing solutions for our no-code/low-code web application. He/She will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure the delivery of exceptional software by integrating quality assurance throughout the entire development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has a strong foundation in both automation and manual testing, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, execute, and analyse manual test cases for new features, complex user journeys, and exploratory testing when necessary.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects rigorously, and work with the development team to facilitate resolution.
  • Champion quality best practices by participating in code reviews, design discussions, and contributing to the CI/CD pipeline to enable shift-left testing.
  • Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to the overall improvement of the team's testing processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in test automation for web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript for writing automated test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation is highly preferred. Experience with similar modern frameworks (Cypress, Selenium WebDriver) is acceptable, but a willingness to master Playwright is required.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies: DOM, CSS Selectors, HTML5, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
  • Experience with testing complex front-end architectures, including MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) and Web Components.
  • Proven ability in creating and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports for both automated and manual testing.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience with testing RESTful APIs (using tools like Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
  • Familiarity with performance/load testing concepts and tools.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Behavioral & Professional Skills:
  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to debug complex issues and identify root causes.
  • Excellent Communication: Clear and concise in both verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Proactive & Self-Motivated: Takes ownership of tasks and projects without needing constant supervision.
  • Keen Attention to Detail: A passion for finding the "edge cases" that others might miss.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a strong belief in collective success.
