Role & Responsibilities
Immigration
Manage U.S. employment-based immigration programs, including non-immigrant visas (OPT/STEM, H-1B, TN, L-1) and permanent residence sponsorship, ensuring timely and compliant filings.
Coordinate the H-1B lottery process and oversee all petition documentation submitted to U.S. government agencies.
Track and maintain active immigration cases, proactively monitoring regulatory changes and assessing impact on visa-dependent employees.
Lead permanent residency initiation, visa extensions, required postings, eligibility reviews, and overall compliance activities.
Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and policy adherence.
Manage external immigration counsel and vendor relationships, including cost tracking, invoice review, and drive operational efficiencies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for immigration inquiries, providing guidance, education, and timely issue resolution.
Global Compensation
Support the design, administration, and delivery of competitive and cost-effective compensation plans aligned with business strategy.
Participate in annual compensation surveys and conduct ongoing benchmarking across global markets; monitor market gaps and pay equity.
Collaborate proactively with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to analyze market trends and internal equity, supporting annual pay planning, salary structure design, and workforce planning scenarios.
Support preparation of compensation analysis and reporting throughout the year.
Ensure salary ranges are reviewed and refreshed regularly; market price new roles and apply geographic differentials where appropriate.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in immigration or compensation; must possess a strong learning mindset and the motivation to cross-train and master both functional areas.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of HCM systems (preferred) with strong data reporting and analytical skills using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
High level of initiative and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
